What does it mean a tryout is sold out?
The tryouts have reached full capacity, allowing for optimal player evaluation. Athletes who have not yet registered are encouraged to join the waitlist, in case additional spots open up.

Note: Due to high demand, all Tryouts are expected to sell out quickly. Players are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their spot, as registration will close early once the Tryouts are full.

Fee Includes: Player Registration, Results, Evaluations, Refreshments, Official BFL Tryout T-Shirt, and a chance to be selected by our NFL players panel to participate in the first ever Beach Football League exhibition game held at the end of the day.
All registered athletes will be entered into the 2025 BFL Draft Pool. Official league play begins Summer 2025.

Player has graduated from high school in the year of 2024 or earlier or is 18+.
Player is not under contract with or by any other professional football league.
Player is not a current member of a collegiate football team for the 2024 season.

A Rectangular Field: 40.5 Yards in Length 30.6 Yards in Width.
Tackling Rule
Like the Rugby Football Union, we are adopting the same waist-height tackle law to reduce head injuries.

Tackle
No pads. Just like Rugby and the A7FL, the soft shell gear is optional, but the mouthpiece is mandatory.
Flag
During U-17 and 18+ games, players will be outfitted with cutting-edge soft shell pads, helmets, & mouthpieces are all mandatory.

Due to limited showcase space, athletes are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure admission.

Players may participate in Defensive and Offensive portions of each Tryout, but they can only register for one position for the 2025 BFL Draft Pool.

The player registration fee is non-refundable, except under the following circumstances:
Players not accepted into The BFL Tryouts will receive a 100% refund of their registration fee.
Players who are signed by the NFL, UFL, or Accept a College Scholarship prior to their Tryout date have the option to cancel their registration and receive a 100% refund, provided they submit a copy of their signed contract with their refund request at least one week prior to their tryout date.
Players who provide documentation of a disabling injury from their doctor or team physician will receive a full 100% refund.
Tryout Weather:
Tryouts are held rain or shine. In the event of lightning within 5 miles of the tryout location, the event will be paused until the lightning has passed.Air Travel
